Yesterday we spent the day with side of the Family for Mothers Day. It was so good to spend the day with family because next year we wont be here in New South Wales for Mothers Day or Christmas, and we are not sure when we will be back in the Wollongong Area!
Happy Mothers Day From Symbio Wildlife Park ::
I drove the Scenic way from Wollongong, on the Seacliff Bridge to Symbio Wildlife Park…gosh do I love that Bridge and the drive along the coast.
We arrived around 10.30am and entered to explore every animal and the park as much as possible. Kids move fast so we got to see everything on the Map.
Think That I wasaround them they still sleep!
The most funniest cutest monkey ever, they move so quick and have such an interesting personality….reminds me of my youngest son Kyle!
He Looks so cute but gee those teeth must be super sharp ~ He was eating through a big rope and was succeeding. Not sure if he could eat through the rope till it snapped in two, but I reckon its a possibility!
Kyle LOVED feeding the Kangaroos the most…he is our animal lover and I reckon one day he will either own a zoo or work for one {or be the manager of one} because he has the kindest heart.
Cameron sat down to feed the Kangaroos – and they sat on his lap to feed off him…literally! It was so funny how much they wanted their food and didn’t matter where it was placed.
It was hard to get a good picture of the Tasmania Devil because he kept running around a circle in and out of the water, He was having so much fun!
We had a great day exploring the Wildlife Park then heading back down the Scenic way to Wollongong. Driving along Sea Cliff bridge to show my family more of Australia ~ they live in the area and have never been that way before!! That’s the beauty of slow travelling, exploring places and returning to them again to share the experience with loved ones.
We loved our day at Symbio Wildlife Park, then spent the afternoon at Towradgi Beach Pub before heading to Shellharbour Club for dinner. Perfect day, leading to an even more perfect day for Mothers Day. We had all of our sons home last night, and that is all I wanted – to spend time with family!
Have You Been to Symbio Wildlife Park Before?
Cheers

What a beautiful day Lisa. We have driven along the Seacliff Bridge. It’s wonderful. There was something for everyone in your day. The animals for the kids, then the pub and dinner. Dinner with all your boys last night would be lovely. This morning we went to Marty’s Mum’s place for a family morning tea with scones and jam and tonight my Mum came over for dinner with both our kids. Another lovely day.

Oh what I would give to be a Koala for just 24 hours, I can’t remember the last time I had a proper night’s sleep. As you know I have a nine month old baby girl. How many years before I get a good night’s sleep and be able to sleep in again?
