Way back in January of 2015 we stayed with Some Great Friends so that David could help with their Solar Panels on their Bedford Motorhome. One day their sweet Mama treated our family to a day out in Ipswich – first we went to the Lego Display and then onto a Water playground….it was that hot that day all of us enjoyed the water park.
Ipswich Lego Display ::
Our friends cute kids and our two boys – all pulling funny faces 🙂
The “Bumble Bus” was built by a 6 years old – very clever 6 years old!
Kyle loved “Testing” his Lego car out on the track – sorry its such a blurry picture…its a bit hard to get a picture when he is moving far too fast!!
“Theres a Wheel, Theres A Way” – love the play on the words which normally says “Where’s there a Will, There is always a way”
Love how the inside of the Motorbike was broken down so that you could see every single part. Genius.
After we left the Ipswich Art Gallery we walked back down to our Campervans {they had a Kombi Van!!!!}, and headed to the local water parks to cool off – it was very hot back in January, like so hot you had sweat running down in between your boobs and pooling into the bra!!!
As we were walking I noticed this gorgeous Church in Ipswich Queensland, the buildings of Churches in Australia are amazing! And so full of character/history.
Then at the Park we found the Queen and the King……
“Since ancient Times, a King and Queen have Symbolised the binary nature of the life itself. These symbols demonstrate that people are always faced with natures forces, and show the power of Queensland’s people to rise again after the floods” – Very Beautiful and touching because Ipswich have been affected by flooding, and lives have been lost, yet the town {people} pull together.
The trees were so cute with “Faces” on them.
Still not sure what all the ropes in the Trees are all about? They were every where, and its almost like an obstacle course from one tree to another tree.
After a little while we headed back to the Ipswich Art Gallery so the kids could play with more “Built For Speed Lego” Displays…and so I could drool at the Displays…..
We loved our day at Ipswich Queensland Art Gallery, the Lego Display, the water park and seeing the Churches. I know there is way more to see around Ipswich so maybe another time we will get back there.
Have You Seen Built For Speed?
Have you been to Ipswich?
Cheers
