Awhile ago we went up to Norval Park Yandaran for the day and came across all of these Camping Spots along the beach. At the time I was thinking about how they all looked like there were some very permanent campers, and had to wonder how long they had been there.
Then there was an article in the news about the Turtle researchers walking along the beach and the campers were apparently being hurtful towards the researchers {with words and throwing things at them} so the beach camping got banned, the land was changed, the signs were up and now you can only camp in the small section near the beach.
Such a shame, guess the camping spot was ideal. You can see our visit to Norval Park Yandaran <—- Click on those hi-lighted words! And now you can see how the land is changed!
Norval Park Beach – No Longer Free Camping :
They moved the sand and added rocks onto the pathway so no one is allowed to free camp there anymore!
So very good watching them play Frisbee on the Beach – will have to get back there as soon as it warms up so we can have some much needed fun together 🙂
Yeah he is such a beach babe, even though it was far too cold for us all to go in for a swim, that wasn’t going to stop Kyle 🙂
Such a shame that travelers can no longer stop at Norval Park Beach with No Longer Camping allowed on the many beach fronts. Such a shame that it came to having to change the foot paths/tracks into the camping area. Many travelers loved the Beach spot and now there is only a tiny section at the camp grounds where there is not enough spots, especially when its the busy time of the year!
Have You Been To A Camping Spot That Is Now Closed Down?
Its looking more and more like the spots around Australia are being shut down. How is anyone able to travel with their families?
Cheers
