We love the beach! Its our one place that we all go to for fun, relaxation and for our youngest two a place to run off some energy! With our week of not going anywhere, and a week of trying to shake a cough I decided to head to the beach with the younger two last Thursday. While we were gone from the Motorhome I was able to put on our Ozone Generator to help clear out the bugs, the smell of onion {yep it was so smelly inside!} and to give us some much needed fresh air.
Its too cold for the water at the moment so we sat on the sand, and soaked up for the afternoon.
Our Favorite Place Ever ::
We are so very grateful to be across the road from a Beach – its our most favorite place ever. Actually I reckon that when we finally stop travelling {can’t see that happening in a very long time} we will have to live over looking the ocean!
Kyle LOVES exploring the rock Pools, and luckily the tide was out so that he didn’t get cold and wet while having fun exploring.
We soon moved from the rock pools the rock wall, I was sitting closer to the wall to try and keep warm from the wind, and the boys started up a game climbing all over the rocks playing together. Kyle started the game up – “Robin Hood” and Cameron joined in. I love listening to their imagination and the stories they come up with!
Would love to know what he was thinking about while sitting there and looking out to sea?
It was a cold wind, the sun was warm but trying to stay out of the wind was the tricky bit. I had a jumper but Kyle being Kyle was running around in a T-Shirt and Shorts!
Yep the beach is our must-go-to-place when not feeling well. And its a place where we can rest and relax.
Sure was glad that we took the time to leave the motorhome, even if it was only for a little while – when we got back to the bus we opened up all the windows and curtains for much needed fresh air.
What Is Your Place That You Love To Go To?
Cheers

A Thermos flask or a Keep Cup of hot coffee would be good on the beach Lisa. I am with you I just love beaches and could never be happy living far from the ocean. The good thing about your motorhome is you can park near the beach whereas a house near the beach would cost a fortune 🙂

We too love the beach; and in WA there’s plenty to choose from! The question though, is what is the best beach?!

Beautiful! We are heading back to the beach in Shellharbour in August for a little holiday and to catch up with family and our old friends. Liam (11) is looking forward to going crab hunting in the rocks at the harbour/park area there. A favourite place of mine since I was a child. Hope you’re all on the mend.

Hi Karen,
Your son will love Shellharbour – its perfect at the rock pools for lots of fun 🙂
Thanks for the well wishes xx
I’ve been on the beach at Lake Tahoe but not the ocean for many years. Do you that there is a spot north of San Francisco (a specific outcropping of rocks in the Pt Reyes area) that was always my most serene place I had ever been to. So, I totally get it on the beach, Lisa. And I love the game of Robin Hood for the boys! I agree with Jan, you have a great deal with the motorhome at the beach vs an expensive home…AND you can switch beaches anytime you like!! Dang we gotta get that Mrs Rosburg to fly Phoenix and I down there to see all of you in her private jet! 🙂

Oh yeah I love the idea of “living” near any beach in Australia with our Motorhome – maybe something smaller when the kids are grown up and moved out of ours!
Yes – Please get Mrs Rosburg to fly you both over 🙂
