So very sorry that I haven’t been here on New Life on the Road in so very long….life just gets in the way!! We are super busy with our family and we now have two new sisters added into the crazy mix of our life. Plus one of our sons is really getting into his Karate with competitions so I just don’t get enough time to sit down and write a blog post!
David has a new job about to start where he won’t be home all of the time, super proud of him because its been a dream of his for so very long.
One of our sons has returned home with us and we are enjoying having him around – our youngest loves spending time with him!
One of our sons is overseas on a two months holiday with contiki tour – yeah I am so jelly, and nope he didn’t let me go with him so he is getting horse poo for his Xmas Present 🙂
One of our sons is doing super well with his job – has his dream car and a boat, and is working towards many goals.
Another son is doing Year 11 and Year 12 by correspondance through a School that has Homeschooling as a choice. Stressful times for us all but hopefully he will get what he needs to follow his dreams.
And me – I am trying to juggle it all and stay sane!!!
The other day I had the bright idea to help one of our sons get some driving hours up his sleeve and drive up to the Singing Ship in Emu Park. But I didn’t look at the weather forecast and didn’t realise that it needs the wind to make it sing. So yep we went all that way and it wasn’t singing.
Never mind, we still had an enjoyable day out and about – Dave, Kyle and I have seen it before and gee does it sing beautifully!! You can hear it {when its working} as you park the car. Walking up the hill it still takes my breathe away.
After standing and looking at the information about the World War One we went back up to the Singing Ship {Emu Park} but it still wasn’t singing. So we went to look at the beach!
We waited for as long as possible, but the wind was not there so we left. Mabye another time we will return to the singing ship with our son so that he can hear it!
Have You Been To The Singing Ship?
We have been twice so far, never ever know when we will get back up that way again, but hopefully one day soon!
