It doesn’t matter what you travel in, it doesn’t matter how you travel, it doesn’t matter who you travel with, and it doesn’t matter when you travel….or does it?
Yes it does. Don’t leave it too late. Travel No Matter What.
Its possible to travel in a Campervan with tents.
Its possible to travel with swags on the roof of a car.
It’s possible to travel with a camper trailer.
It’s possible to travel with a car and a caravan.
It’s possible to travel with Airbnb.
It is possible to travel with hiking.
It’s possible to travel with horses – or camels!!
It’s possible to travel with cruises.
Its possible to travel anywhere.
All I am saying is don’t leave traveling to “one day” because that “one day” might never ever come. When we had to leave our Motorhome behind in Sydney { a few years ago} we cleaned it out. We cleaned out the fridge, I even mopped the floors. We packed everything we could into our small Campervan and we hit the road. We traveled over four months in that small campervan with two adults and two sons.
I had a friend tell me “I still can’t believe you packed up your motorhome and traveled in such a small campervan with your sons”
At the time it didn’t seem like a big deal to me – I just did it. With lots of tears because we had to leave our Motorhome in a Storage facility but I knew that it would be okay.
Because at the end of the day it doesn’t matter how you travel. It doesn’t matter what you are traveling in, it doesn’t matter where you are traveling. All that matters is getting into that transportation, and hitting unknown destinations. And creating memories that your family will remember forever.
Travel No Matter What
We know people that would never ever go camping – they go to five-star hotels overseas. And that’s okay because it works for them. We know other people who travel overseas for a month at a time and they book their own accommodation before they go and won’t pay more than $15.00 per night for both of them. And that’s okay because it works for them.
We know people that will go camping but it has to be glamping. And again thats okay cause it works for them.
But don’t ever leave traveling until one day. Because life is short. So fricken short I am not kidding. ITS over in a blink of an eye.
How do I know that you are asking?
Easy as – I used to work in the aged care industry and nearly every second person regretted that they did not travel. They regretted that they waited before traveling. They said “Oh if only we had traveled when we were younger” – and I totally understand why they waited.
But here is the thing. There is never ever going to be the right time – you just have to make it happen. You have to get over the fear or whatever is holding you back and you have to get out there. Travel No Matter What
Australia is one gorgeous place – and you will never ever see all of it. It’s not possible as there are so many unknown roads, dirt tracks and bush tracks to take. Even we keep discovering more of Wollongong every time we go down there. And we expose more of Queensland to our sons when they come up.
We will never ever settle down and grow up – we are going to be those old folks who travel to the last minute.
Here is the thing – life gets in the way sometimes and right now life is really stopping from us living where we are parked up. But we are working on a solution so that we are traveling more than we are at present.
Cause the itchy feet don’t want to settle down, and then there is our son Kyle who can’t understand why I won’t let him walk halfway across Australia by himself so that he can go gold fossicking. He has all of the maps sorted, he knows where he wants to go and he has planned how long it would take him to get there and return home. But cause he is only 13 I won’t let him go off alone!!!
See he is one smart cookie – he knows Travel No Matter What – and don’t let anything hold you back.
Where Are You Traveling TO Right Now?
Cheers
Lisa
