With our new free lifestyle I am looking at so many different aspects of our life, with a different way of looking! I have different coloured lenses and I see things differently. Even from six months ago, even from last week – I keep on discovering new ways of living and I am so grateful to everything that is happening in and around our life. So I got to thinking (I know – that’s a dangerous thing to do!) but I was wondering What Are You Grateful For?
What Are Your Grateful For in Your Life?
Grateful that our boys were able to play with board games that were left for them! Another traveller left them on the table, and was happy to see them being used!
Living Differently
Every day I see things differently compared to what I was doing last week. My life is changing around me. We are trying Raw Food and loving the benefits it is giving us. We have green smoothies for breakfast every morning. We eat vegetarian meals every night for dinner. We are using products that are safe for our skin. We are buying organic hair products. The changes are huge. We have a smaller fridge then what we used to have, so we cook only what we need for each meal. Our food bills are decreasing, yet we are eating healthy and we are eating more fresh fruit n vegetables.
Eating Vegetarian Meals every night
Green Smoothies for Breakfast – or Red Smoothies when adding Beetroot!
Grateful For Lifestyle
We are so grateful that we are now living a lifestyle that is different. Its not like we are living a life of going without, actually we have added more to our life since we are living with less. We have less stuff that is not needed to our happiness. We have less stuff to keep us tied down. We have less but yet it seems like we have more, we are grateful for the things we do have!
Grateful that Kyle played so hard with friends that his feet were black!
Here is what I am Grateful For….
- I am grateful to my five amazing loud crazy boys
- I am grateful that they are learning to talk with each other to sort out their differences
- I am grateful that I was able to rest today when I was feeling a bit off colour
- I am grateful that my hubby is such a good cook, loves to help out in the kitchen and still is keen to read a book to his boys before they go to bed
- I am grateful that my oldest boy is my friend on facebook so we can send messages to each other (actually we talk more then we ever have!)
- I am grateful that we live close to the beaches so that I can have my fix of the salt water, the feel of the sand under my feet, and the fresh air going into my lungs as I walk along the beach
- I am grateful that I have good friends
- I am grateful that I am meeting new friends all of the time
- I am grateful that my life is heading in the direction of what I have always dreamt of
- I am grateful that I get to do a job I love – as an Internet Marketing Coach, helping other bloggers move their site forward and getting paid to talk about it!
- I am grateful that I love reading books
- I am grateful that I can connect with so many other wonderful bloggers online and offline
- I am grateful to all of my amazing readers – you guys rock
- I am grateful for social media – I have since discovered how to use twitter! I finally get how to connect with an audience that is in my niche (travelling and blogging!)

I love your list Lisa. As I said on FB I too am starting to take note of what i am grateful for.
right now I am grateful it is jacaranda season – I am happiest when i can catch glimpses of the sea of purple flowers. We bought our house in December and I had no idea my next door neighbour had a jacaranda but do now that it is starting to bloom!
I am grateful I too have a husband who loves to cook – even after a long day of meetings he will walk in the door (like tonight) and happily take over the cooking as it gives him pleasure (I only do it because I have to)
I am grateful I have been able to tap into a new community filled with bloggers and business owners and stretch myself in so many ways.
I am grateful I had 8 years of time as a stay at home mom and gave my girls my undivided attention. They are happy I have new interests and feel secure thanks to all the time before…

Hello Deb,
I am so glad that you are grateful for he jacaranda tree. We used to have one in our backyard at our house in D’aguliar. It was so gorgeous when the flowers were out.
I am looking forward to following your journey with your new interests. Its so good that you were able to stay at home for so long with your girls.
Cheers

Isn’t it wonderful that we have learnt to be grateful for the non material things in our life. The biggest thing I am grateful for is our health. Our 3 children are growing up strong and healthy with clean water to drink, plenty of food and a warm dry bed to climb into at night. I am so grateful that we live in a country with so much freedom and prosperity and we have so many opportunities available to us. oh and I am also grateful for the internet and google to have the power of knowledge right at our fingertips and to be able to connect with like minded people and check out what the other side of the world is up to.

Love this post Lisa. I am grateful for so many things, however I think at this moment in time I am most grateful for having the flexibility to pack up my home and go travelling from April. Grateful that I saw this as a possibility and not just a dream. Grateful that I am open to change. Grateful that I have a wonderful man who is willing to take this journey with me. Grateful that you have given me this opportunity to write all of this down 🙂

Wow, you sure do have a lot to be grateful for, Lisa.
I’m grateful for being alive in 2011, a time in history that’s so exciting.
I’m grateful for my hands and fingers, which I use every day with ease, to communicate with the world and write love letters to my son.
I’m also grateful for the birds that sing so loudly outside my house, at about the same time every morning because they always make me slow down and contemplate.
Thank you, Lisa.

Hi Lina,
I love how you take the time to listen to your bird who sings so loudly outside your house. Lots of people never take the time to stop and listen to the birds (or smell the roses!)
Love how you are so grateful for being alive, and the use of your fingers.
Cheers

Hi Tegan,
The smoothies are so yummy – we have them every morning….they make me feel so good! I love being vegetarian, never want to go back to meat again!
