Nothing better than a Cooked Breakfast In Bed. And it shouldn’t be Mothers Day, Christmas or Easter (or any other special day of the year) to have someone bring it to you.
Munching Monday ::
Sunday I was given a Cooked Breakfast in Bed meal.
Munching Monday I was given a Cooked Breakfast in Bed (hot cakes but I forgot to get a photo!!)
Wonder what I will be given tomorrow?
Probably nothing, after all today was special. Today was my Wedding Anniversary for David and I. We have been married for 18 years – this time all of those years ago we were dancing and having a good time!!! Now we are actually back in the same spot where we spent one night together in a hotel…..funny how we have come full circle. Guess life is telling us something?
Sunday Breaky ::
Poached Eggs, Mushrooms with Tomatoes – the Tomatoes had herbs added and then cheese melted on top. Sorry the image does not do it justice….lets just say that David should have been a Chef instead of a Boat Builder!!!
Ingredients ::
Mushroom – cooked with butter, salt/pepper, dash of Lea and Perrins Worcestershire Sauce and cornflour.
Poached Eggs (we only buy Free Range Eggs) – cooked in water with White Wine Vinegar and Celtic Sea Salt.
Tomatoes – with Basil and Parsley.
Cheese – Swiss.
Yesterday we went for a drive after having such a yummy breakfast…..we ended up Driving up to Mt Keira Lookout and Bulli Lookout. From there we drove down to Wollongong Harbour.
After Mt Keira we wanted to show David the Lighthouse and the canons that are the edge of Wollongong harbor …while we were there we got to see a gorgeous couple having their wedding photos taken…..
This wedding touched my heart ~
wishing them all the best for their Married life.
It seemed so right that we got to be a part of their wedding day, a day before our anniversary….wishing them a lifetime of happiness.
I Loved Having A Cooked Breakfast In Bed.

Thanking you 🙂
I think your photo showed your cooked breakfast beautifully. Those eggs look just perfect. How lovely – did David join you for breakfast? How lovely to come across the wedding. So romantic. It looked windy down at the ocean.

Dave did have breaky as well, just not in bed!!!
It was so very windy that day at Wollongong Head Land. I was wondering how cold the bride was because we all had jackets on and could feel the wind…she had no straps to her dress and it was crazy how much her veil was blowing around in the breeze….she just kept on smiling and was so gorgeous.
It was a good day out.
