Today I feel ok. I am tired but I doing ok….and I got to thinking (yeah that is a scary thought!) what about that saying “Smile and the World Smiles With YOU” so I started to try it out and it sure works.
I Smiled And They Smiled Back
I walked through school, and through town today with a smile on my face. And its amazing how many people walk around with a scrowl or even a blank face….untill you smile at them and say “how are you”
Wonder if anyone wants to really tell me the truth? Like would they ever say “Feel like SH*T, how about you”? statement! Or do they go into auto pilot and say “Yeah Good, and you?”
So Here is MY Smile For You……

Smile and the World Smiles With You!
Have You Given Someone A Great Smile Today?
If So Did They Smile Back?

New Life on the Road
I LOVE this post! It reminded me of a time when I was in the public loos (!) and as the lady came out of the cubicle I could see her in the mirror as I was washing my hands and I smile and said hello! I swear she nearly broke down on me said it was so nice that a complete stranger would say hello and that it rarely happens nowadays. It was a great feeling to know that you can make someones day just by twitching your lips upwards 🙂
Thanking you so much Debbie for sharing your gorgeous Smile Story 🙂
Love it!
Cheers

One thing I love about dropping the kids to school is getting to say hi to all the kids, I make a real point of giving them a big friendly good morning! My Mum taught me to always say hi and smile which is just part of my life now. You are right though often I smile and say “I’m fine” when the reverse is true, luckily close friends see right through this. xxxx

That is so cool Lisa – saying hi to all the kids at schoool 🙂
Your Mum is one smart lady. And yep sometimes I do say the same…”I’m Fine” when really I’m not. Glad you have friends that can be there for you when needed.
Cheers

I try and spread a smile (usually! 🙂 but it’s amazing how many people scowl back at you and DON’T respond to a smile! It’s lovely to have smiley people around you I think!

I think that making someones day by smiling is the best thing ever 🙂
I guess people are so “into” there own life (and issues) that they forget to smile back?
Keep on Smiling – it will make everyone around feel good.
What a great post, I believe in the power of a smile too. It costs noting, takes no time and usually people love it, except perhaps the London Tube where no one looks at each other! lol.
Love the photo! Sending a virtual smile to you, Lisa! 🙂
