Over the weekend I was cooking for three…do you know how much LESS ingredients you need when there is only three of us instead of seven of us 🙂
Cameron, Kyle and I headed to my oldest son’s house on Thursday afternoon because he had an “Fire Alarm Inspection” in his unit and someone had to be there. David joined us on the Sunday so that we all could go to Luna Park.
On Saturday Night I made the most easiest meal ever…..
Chicken Mushroom Pasta For Three ::
 Ingredients ::
Chicken Pieces
250 grams of Mushroom
Shallots
Onion
Garlic
Butter
Asparagus
Chicken Stock
200 grams Thickened Cream
Salt and Pepper
Pasta
Method ::
Brown the Chicken and the Onion with LOTS of butter
Add the Garlic and Mushrooms
Add the Shallots
Towards the end add the Sliced Asparagus
Add the Chicken Stock and then the Thickened Cream
Add the Salt n Pepper
Cook 1/2 the small bag of Pasta according to the Packet Directions.
Serve Warm.
What Didn’t We Like ::
Next time I am not going to add the Chicken Stock because it was too much over power of Salt/Flavor. I think the Chicken is fine without the stock.
The over all ease of this meal appeals to us because we had such a busy time exploring Bondi Beach that cooking was the last thing I wanted to do….this meal took such little time 🙂
Have You Tried Chicken Mushroom Pasta {with Asparagus} before?
Enjoy
Cheers
