Last Wednesday we had our oldest son with us so we took him for a scenic drive and ended up at Kangaroo Valley to stand under neath the Bridge and to listen to the Cars/Trucks going over it….if you stand underneath the Bridge you will found out its very loud!
Kangaroo Valley ::
Park on the Right Hand Side {after Driving through the Town} of the Road, there is a car parking Space next to Toilets and a small enclosure of Farm Animals – I think there were Goats, Chickens and a Pony. There is a walk way down to the water, a great place for fishing.
I loved looking at the way the bridge was made, how the rocks blended into the water and how the Bridge looked like it was part of the landscape.
They soon started a Very Crazy Game of playing in the Sand….
They were giving our oldest son a Wedgie as well as trying to push him down the hill into the Sand!!! They got so very dirty but gee I have never ever seen them have that much fun all together – our oldest showed our youngest a Fun side to his personality and they both loved the Bonding time.
Boys being boys ~ They played rough yet kept on going back for more fun!
The Bridge is a One Lane bridge with cars stopping each end before crossing, to make sure no car is coming towards them….maybe should have told my oldest son that before he drove straight over without looking!
The Day with our Oldest son was magical ~ bonding, laughing, quality time, games, fun, sharing, exploring. It was a wonderful Road Trip. And so good to show him more of Australia.
Have You Ever Been To Kangaroo Valley?
Cheers
Lisa

Those one vehicle bridges can get dicey when there is no line of sight to the other side! Luckily that wasn’t the case here and yes those old ones can sure be noisy underneath huh, Lisa? As in, “is that thing going to fall down?” lol. I looks like your oldest has your youngest in head lock. Thank you for including the map where you were at. I love when travel bloggers do that so that I can zoom out and get a perspective of it in the country. And you are just a bit south of Sydney! 🙂

I love Kangaroo Valley. It’s one of the prettiest spots in Australia. So good that your big boy could have a lovely day before he heads of.
PS the last time I looked under a local bridge I saw how badly maintained it was and now when I drive over it I want to shut me eyes in case it falls down.
