The last two days I have been so very busy! Repainting The Bunk Beds And Going To The Dump. I have also been going to the gym so I guess you could say that I have not had the time to get on here 🙂
Repainting the Bunk Beds ::
Kyle chose his Paint Colour, and I thought that I would Paint Nicholas bunk bed in the same colour…
This time around I chose Dulux Wash n Wear because with two very grubby boys I wanted to see if I could make the paint last longer than the what the other paint job that was on there, and to see if I could keep it looking a little bit cleaner.
It used to be grey walls, but it looked so dirty with their grubby little hands all over it and washing it with Sugar Soap didn’t make a difference! Let’s hope that the “Surf Wash Colour” looks better over the time 🙂
We have Had Theses Stickers For Ages ~
I was going to put them on his Ceiling ~
But Have decided To Put them Up On The Wall 🙂
So very Happy With How They Look!
Very Busy Yesterday ::
Yesterday I had to make a dash to the Dump! We had broken up the Canoe that David was making because it got water damaged when it rained heavy awhile ago {they did get to use it in the water and it floated well!!}
The Dump prices surprised me! In Queensland I could take a Trailer Load to the Dump for about $5.00-$8.00 depending on what was in the Load. Here in New South Wales a Small Car Boot Load cost me $19.00????
At the Entrance to the Dump is all of these Signs “Don’t Blame The Staff For The Prices as they only work There” – I could imagine the Words that are thrown their way because a Trailer Load is over $50.00….no WONDER that there is so much rubbish on the side of the Roads here in Wollongong.
Wouldn’t you think that with clean up Australia Day they would lower the Fees so that everyone wanted to keep Australia Clean by going to the Tip with their loads?
So We Have Some Exciting News Tomorrow….
Check Back Here To See What It Is!!

Paint job looks great. Nice choice, Kyle. Those trips to the dump can be quite exy. I remember my husband being shocked with the price when he took a massive trailer load out. It has to be done though 🙂
