Manly in New South Wales holds a bit of our heart. David’s Grandparents have a chair dedicated to them, overlooking their favorite spot in Manly. The Manly Marine Parade Walking To Grandads Chair is something we have done before, and something we might do again another time. This is from back in February this year! Yeah I am bit behind in uploading our trips – that little thing called life keeps getting in the way!
Take a walk on the wild side with us!
We have seen Love Locks in Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama, Melbourne and also Manly! They sure are very popular and so sweet to have names and dates on them. But I have heard that they are destroying the fences they are being placed on.
This is the beach that we always go to for a swim! Its super cool spot, where there is a cafe near by, and not far from Grandparents Chairs.
We went from the Beach, to the Grandparents Chair, to a walk way along the beach cliff edge. The walk took about 1.5hours and we found so much! There was so much to look at, read along the way and discover. I have heaps of more photos and details to share shortly 🙂
I love taking long walks, discovering a place and reading about the history of what happened in that very spot many years ago!
And yes he walked with no shoes forever. He doesn’t like shoes and perfers going bare feet.
Next I Share The Sydney Harbour National Park walkway.
Manly Marine Parade Walking To Grandads Chair – such a gorgeous day out and exploring. I love looking back on all of these memories.
Want to see Kyle and Manly from a few years ago? Here is Manly New South Wales from 2014
