After we went to find Dave’s Grandparents Chair – Manly Marine Parade Walking To Grandparents Chair – we didn’t want to go home so we decided to escape explore some more of Manly New South Wales. We accidently found Sydney Harbour National Park – where we walked and walked. Along the way we came across The Barracks Precinct, Hanging Swamp, Lookouts and war memorials – even found a wonderful cafe.
Sydney Harbour National Park
At first we weren’t sure if we should go through the gate as we didn’t know what to expect on the other side, but gee we sure were so glad we did! Its incredible what is beyond this big Brick Wall. Mind you no pet animals as they do have bait everywhere for Fox Control.
Manly Scenic Walkway will take you all over so many different tracks! We grabbed a map and decided to head to the North Fort. I can’t extactly remember how long our walk was – but I do know that we both slept so well that night as we had walked at least 1.5 hours {maybe closer to 2 hours}
We even found the amazing cafe to have a cold drink and to refresh ourselves before continuing onto the war memorial section of the Sydney Harbour National Park.
Have You Been To Manly Scenic Walkway?
Cheers
Lisa
